We are supporting a well-established North American organization operating within the utilities, infrastructure, and project-based construction sector in their search for a Payroll Analyst to support complex U.S. payroll operations.

This role manages payroll across multiple states, supporting both union and non-union employees within a fast-paced, operational environment. The position offers exposure to multi-jurisdiction payroll requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and project-based workforce structures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Process full-cycle payroll across multiple U.S. states
• Administer payroll for both union and non-union employee groups
• Interpret collective bargaining agreements and apply wage, fringe, and benefit requirements
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislation
• Reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready records
• Prepare payroll reports and support year-end payroll activities
• Partner with HR, Finance, and operational teams to resolve payroll inquiries
• Contribute to payroll process improvements and documentation

Key Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-state environments
• Experience supporting union payroll strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll compliance and taxation requirements
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based environments considered an asset
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Workday, or similar
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPP designation considered an asset
