Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 + Benefits

We are partnering with a well-established and growing North American organization operating within the heavy industrial and infrastructure sector to add a Senior Tax Analyst to their finance team.

This role offers the opportunity to support both domestic and international tax functions within a complex, multi-entity environment. Working alongside finance and external advisors, the successful candidate will contribute to tax compliance, reporting, planning, and strategic tax initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support tax provisions, reporting, and compliance activities across Canadian and international jurisdictions
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and trust tax filings
  • Assist with international tax calculations, transfer pricing documentation, and intercompany tax matters
  • Support tax provisioning and reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP frameworks
  • Assist with evolving global tax requirements, including Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) initiatives
  • Conduct tax research and provide analysis to support compliance, planning, and business decisions
  • Manage indirect tax compliance activities including GST/HST/PST and related filings
  • Support tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives, process improvements, and internal control compliance
  • Provide tax guidance and support to internal stakeholders across finance and operations

Key Qualifications Include:

  • 4+ years of tax experience, ideally within public practice, corporate tax, or multinational environments
  • Exposure to international taxation and global compliance considered a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of tax provisions and reporting within IFRS and/or US GAAP environments
  • Experience with transfer pricing, indirect tax, and corporate tax filings preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA designation completed or actively in progress
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced Excel and tax/accounting systems proficiency
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and external advisors
